High end toilet unit built for Warrington council to be used as a unisex public toilet at Lymm Dam. This heritage site is just located outside of Lymm village and is a popular tourist attraction within Cheshire. The council got in touch with Universal as their existing toilet needed replacing. They wanted a unit to fit all needs, so we come up with a fully equipped DDA compliant unit for anyone to use men, women, and children. The DOCM kit also had a panic alarm fitted along with a disabled with personnel door making sure it was fully user friendly. The plumbing fixtures where made from stainless steel and all electrics where sub surface mounted to help minimise any damage should the unit be vandalised. Internally it was fully lined in multipro wall boards and insulated in rockwool with hard wearing vinyl flooring. Full electrics including lighting, heating, hand dryer, water heater and external security floodlight. Externally we fabricated a pitched roof and cladded it in small Cedar shingles, then cladded the walls in Siberian larch cladding to fit in with the surrounding area. Finally, we delivered the unit to site and positioned it into place and installed a guttering system to collect any water from the pitched roof.
