20ft New standard container converted into beer garden bar in Dundee. This client was converting an old iconic building into a modern restaurant. The plot had a lot of land that they decided to make use of the outdoor area and create a beer garden with the shipping container being the main attraction. The container was cladded in high spec cedar wood on the 20ft walls and flat painted mild steel on the 8ft walls. 3x gas strut serving hatches installed one larger and set low for wheelchair users to attend the bar. We also fabricated a frame so that the top of the container and corner post protruded forward past the cladding to give it a better more modern look. The unit was painted externally in anti-corrosive RAL 7016 container paint, finally delivered and placed onto site for the customer to begin trading.
